Abuse. And more abuse. When will it stop? Where are people’s sense of humanity? Why are so many people so heartless!

Elephants are sweet, sensitive, affectionate, devoted, loving beings. They mourn their dead just like humans. They suffer being jailed in cement cages at zoos and being abused for entertainment arenas. Not to mention all the ivory trade poaching for their tusks, killing them in front of their own babies.

And the babies cry by their mother’s side for days and days, just like humans. Babies are taken away from their mothers so that they can be whipped into shape to entertain humans. And their mother’s cry and cry, just like humans.

Elephants are sentient beings who have families, just like humans. They are playful too, when they are left in their own natural surroundings, protected from horrible people. But how horrible Nosey and other entertainment animals feel with the bull hook that harms them daily? That is the only way circuses get the elephants to stand on their front legs. Elephants are not meant to stand on their front legs. Their huge sizes require standing on all 4 legs. And viewers don’t even think of the abuse that got the elephants on their front 2 legs.

Animals feel. They feel all the pain and emotions that people feel. Why can’t people feel the pain that they are cause animals and these elephants?

www.SaveNoseyNow.org, established in 2014, has been fighting hard to help Nosey. They are located in Florida. On their website, they provide information about Nosey’s abuse and health, along with her history. Nosey, as other captive elephants, are kept in horrible conditions, small, airless, boxcars, small trailers, without exercise, with poor diets. It is any wonder that they develop arthritis, foot infections, stress, and early death? Is this want the audience wants when they go to circuses and carnival rides?

What is the current status of Nosey? She has been alone for 30 years, in solitary. Nosey has health problems, both physically and psychologically.  She is confined, chained, abused with a painful bull hook, with improper diet, exposure to extreme temperatures. She is forced to give rides to humans and entertain while under severe pain. All this has been witnessed and reported to the authorities, who have done nothing to help. The owners Have Trunk Will Travel have been cited by the USDA with violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

All this and she continues to be abused.

Help Stop Exporting of Baby Elephants into Lifelong Captivity

IFAW is reporting that Zimbabwe baby elephants are being taken away from their families. Elephants mourn their losses and death just like humans do. They are sensitive, loving creatures that actually cry like humans.

Please help by signing here IFAW’s Petition (no longer an active link)

Elephants are abused to the point of extinction. They are killed brutally for their tusks. They are tortured in captivity. All for the pleasure of inhumane humans.

Help Raju from abuse. We need more signatures by Sept 4.

Raju was rescued and freed in July of 2014 after spending almost 50 years in chains. At the time of his rescue he was near death. He was emaciated, dehydrated and exhausted. Despite his frailness, he was forced to beg on the streets and was being kept in spiked chains. Now the cruel person who had illegal custody of him is trying to get him back through the Allahabad court. You helped free him once, we need your voice once again to keep his freedom.
